Branding — Kuappi
Located in Iisalmi, Finland, Kuappi is the worlds smallest restaurant. With room for only two customers at a time, the name Kuappi directly translates to ‘the closet’ in Finnish. For such a unique concept, Kuappi’s current branding is non-existent and does not convey the message of small.
The overall goal of the rebrand is to bring a contemporary and playful feeling to the restaurant. With the new logo I relied heavily on the idea of two. By combining two wine glasses I created the outline of the tiny building within the negative space. The updated color palette features a deep navy blue, a bright coral, a yellow-gold and a muted green. The colors I chose reflect the fun and energetic meaning for the new brand.
